Blood Donation
Donating blood is considered to be a noble act. In the blood donation drives conducted by our Association, the blood donor will be given a special mention during the donation as they become a reason for saving a life. For a healthy person, donating a few ounces of blood does not lead to any health problems but that ounce of blood donated by them would help create a new horizon for a needy patient.
According to a recent report received from the World Health Organization (WHO), India happens to face a severe crisis of blood and falls short of almost 3 million blood units. In this scenario, if enthusiastic blood donors donate their blood the shortage of blood would be permanently resolved.
‘Achari Foundation’ has been proactive in helping the blood banks in the city and constantly strives to cater to the demand of fresh blood from donors. We are consistently involved in persuading the donors to recommend other donors to donate blood for a cause.
